Dynamic Event Notifications

Dynamic Event Notifications are a new addition to the software, introduced with the release of our Dating Software packages. The notifications system uses AJAX development techniques.

The intent behind using AJAX it is to make web pages feel more responsive by exchanging small amounts of data with the server behind the scenes, so that the entire web page does not have to be reloaded each time the user requests a change. This is intended to increase the web page’s interactivity, speed, and usability.

The notifications system will recognize when a members friend comes online or if they receive a message whilst browsing on the site. A small mesage window that will display for 2 second in the bottom right of the screen notifies the member of the event without disturbing their browsing experience and without the need to refresh the page.

Dynamic Event Notifications can be enabled or disabled by the administrator via the admin control panel.
